Community Guidelines

These Community Guidelines explain how members are expected to behave when participating in any community, chat, discussion area, comment section, feedback space, or member interaction area connected to The Vegan Method, operated by Danielle Wagner (The Vegan Method) ("The Vegan Method", "we", "us", or "our").
By participating in The Vegan Method community, you agree to follow these Community Guidelines.
1. Purpose of the Community
The Vegan Method community is designed to support vegan food business owners and people building vegan food businesses.
The purpose of the community is to help members ask questions, share ideas, discuss business challenges, get practical support, learn from each other, celebrate progress, think through marketing, pricing, products, menus, systems, and business decisions, and build more professional, organized, and profitable vegan food businesses.
The community should feel respectful, useful, practical, and supportive.
2. Be Respectful
All members are expected to communicate respectfully.
You may disagree with someone, ask questions, or offer a different perspective, but you must do so in a respectful and professional way.
You may not:
- Insult other members
- Harass, threaten, or intimidate others
- Use hateful, discriminatory, violent, or abusive language
- Shame another member's business, pricing, products, background, experience, or results
- Mock someone for asking a question
- Attack another person personally
We want members to feel safe asking real questions, including beginner questions.
3. Constructive Feedback Only
Feedback is welcome when it is useful, respectful, and constructive.
When giving feedback, focus on the work, not the person. Good feedback may include what feels clear or unclear, what could be improved, what might confuse customers, what feels strong, what could be tested, or what question the member may want to consider.
Feedback should not be cruel, dismissive, sarcastic, or designed to embarrass someone.
4. Self-Promotion
Members may be allowed to share their business, products, offers, social media, launches, or achievements when it is relevant to the discussion or allowed in the community space.
However, the community should not become a place for spam or constant self-promotion. You may not:
- Post repeated promotional messages
- Send unsolicited sales messages to other members
- Use the community mainly to collect leads
- Pressure other members to buy from you
- Promote unrelated products or services
- Mislead members about your offer, results, or expertise
We may remove promotional content that feels excessive, irrelevant, misleading, or disruptive.
5. Sharing Ideas and Inspiration
The community is a place to learn from each other.
Members may share ideas, examples, questions, challenges, and business situations.
You may take general inspiration from community discussions and apply what you learn to your own business.
However, you may not directly copy another member's specific work without permission. This includes copying another member's product concept, menu structure, offer, branding, business name, sales copy, social media content, pricing explanation, workshop idea, course idea, customer communication, photos, videos, designs, or any other original material shared in the community.
Learning from others is allowed. Copying someone's work one-to-one is not.
6. Confidentiality and Privacy
Members may share business challenges, personal experiences, numbers, ideas, or behind-the-scenes information inside the community.
Please respect other members' privacy. You may not:
- Screenshot and share private community discussions outside the community without permission
- Share another member's personal or business information outside the community
- Share private messages without consent
- Expose another member's business challenges, numbers, or ideas publicly
- Use confidential information shared by another member for your own benefit
If something is shared inside the community, treat it with care.
7. No Sensitive or Unsafe Information
Please avoid sharing highly sensitive personal information inside the community. This includes payment details, passwords, government ID numbers, private customer data, medical information, confidential third-party information, and information you are not authorized to share.
If you need help with a specific customer or business situation, remove identifying details where possible.
8. No Legal, Financial, Tax, Medical, or Regulated Advice
Members may share experiences and general suggestions, but community discussions are not a substitute for professional advice.
You may not present yourself as giving professional legal, financial, tax, accounting, medical, food safety, or regulatory advice unless you are properly qualified and clearly state the limits of your advice.
Members are responsible for checking the laws, rules, and professional requirements that apply to their own business and location.
9. Food Business Responsibility
The Vegan Method community may include discussions about vegan food products, recipes, allergens, production, packaging, shelf life, labeling, pricing, and food business operations.
Members are responsible for testing their own products, checking local regulations, following food safety requirements, and making sure their products are safe and legally compliant.
Do not rely on community discussions as certified food safety, legal, or regulatory guidance.
10. No Harmful or Illegal Content
You may not post or share content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, hateful, violent, sexually explicit, misleading, fraudulent, invasive of privacy, infringing on intellectual property rights, or designed to scam, manipulate, or harm others.
We may remove any content that we believe violates these guidelines or creates risk for the community.
11. No Spam or Platform Misuse
You may not use the community to spam members, post irrelevant links, send mass messages, scrape member information, collect emails without permission, promote unrelated services, upload malware or unsafe files, disrupt discussions, or misuse the platform or its features.
12. Respect Intellectual Property
Do not upload, share, copy, or distribute content that you do not have the right to use. This includes paid courses, recipes from paid sources, templates, photos, videos, designs, worksheets, books, articles, other people's marketing materials, and content from The Vegan Method.
You are responsible for making sure anything you share does not violate copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights.
13. The Vegan Method Content
Content from The Vegan Method is for members' personal and business use only.
You may use what you learn to improve your own vegan food business.
You may not copy, distribute, resell, publish, upload, or share The Vegan Method materials outside the platform. This includes lessons, videos, worksheets, templates, calculators, marketing plans, AI prompts, frameworks, recipes, presentations, and other member-only resources.
14. Moderation
We may moderate the community to keep it respectful, useful, and safe. We may, at our discretion, edit or remove posts, close discussions, move posts to a more relevant area, warn members, limit posting access, remove members from the community, suspend or terminate membership access, or take any other reasonable action needed to protect the community.
We are not required to monitor every post or message, but we may take action when we become aware of a violation.
15. Removal from the Community
A member may be removed from the community or from The Vegan Method if they:
- Violate these Community Guidelines
- Violate the Terms & Conditions
- Harass or harm other members
- Share private or confidential information
- Copy another member's work
- Share access to paid content
- Misuse The Vegan Method materials
- Spam or repeatedly self-promote
- Act in a way that damages the safety, trust, or purpose of the community
If access is removed because of a violation, the member may not be entitled to a refund, except where applicable law requires otherwise (see our Refund & Cancellation Policy).
16. Reporting Issues
If you see something in the community that feels inappropriate, harmful, disrespectful, unsafe, or in violation of these guidelines, please contact us.

17. Changes to These Community Guidelines
We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time.
If we make material changes, we may notify you by email, through the platform, or by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Your continued participation in the community after changes are made means you accept the updated Community Guidelines.
